Psychosomatic medicine

The textbook describes the history, modern understanding of the subject of psychosomatics and trends in its development. The theoretical foundations of psychosomatics, its social, philosophical, religious and bioethical aspects are presented. The peculiarities of managing a psychosomatic patient and the relationship between a doctor and a patient are considered. Standardised methods of research and psychosomatic diagnosis are discussed. The therapeutic approaches in psychosomatics are highlighted.
